Maribo Seed is an international sugar beet seed supplier with a network of subsidiaries, sales offices, distributors and agents in more than 30 countries. The headquarters and modern seed production facilities are located on the island of Lolland in the south eastern part of Denmark. 

Maribo Seed works very closely with the sugar industry and has a good understanding of the needs of the industry. In fact, Maribo Seed was founded back in 1920 by the Danish Sugar Factories to safeguard their supply of seed and improve the yield.

Since then, Maribo Seed has developed a diverse portfolio of sugar beet seed types under the MARIBO name. In addition, Maribo Seed also breeds, produces and markets varieties of fodder beet and protein peas.

We also undertake contract work for other companies, such as seed pelleting, coating and chemical analyses.

Maribo Seed has a first-class customer service. Besides that the scientists and development teams are constantly working on new ways to improve the properties and quality of the seed.

The seed production facilities have been turned into a modern, environmentally-friendly seed factory.
